Our Hospital Policies

Appointments

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delays are inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. A drop-off means that we arrange a time that works best for you and our schedule, and you drop your pet off for diagnosis and/or treatment.

  • We will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine your pet between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients.
  • Once your doctor has completed the authorized testing and treatments, we will call you to arrange a discharge appointment.
  • Next, your doctor or technician will review the diagnosis and give you further instructions as needed.

Patient Arrival

Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, and other pets. For your protection and that of others, all cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash and all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.

Payment

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, and personal checks. We also accept CareCredit, a card that offers payment options with deferred interest. You can apply for free and, if approved, you will be able to use your credit line right away.
