Dr. Ken Lawrence
Dr. Lawrence is a 1984 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He opened Texoma Veterinary Hospital in July 1984. His family includes his wife, Mary, and their two sons, Scott and Kyle. Dr. Lawrence is active at his church, Western Heights Church of Christ. He enjoys studying and teaching in the areas of marriage enrichment, creation and evolution, and general Bible study. He is also involved in the church’s Celebrate Recovery ministry. His hobbies include teaching at church and tinkering with computers.
Dr. Lawrence is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice. To be a member of the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice, Dr. Lawrence attends an average of 50 hours of continuing education each year. He has a keen interest in alternative therapies such as ozone, laser, and nutritional support for diseases.
Dr. David Tidwell, Dipl. ABVP
Dr. Tidwell is a 2000 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. He joined the staff at Texoma Veterinary Hospital in May of 2000 where he loves practicing veterinary medicine. Dr. Tidwell is a boarded specialist in small animal practice and a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. His areas of interest include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and reproduction. Although Dr. Tidwell is a boarded specialist, he still enjoys providing preventative and routine care to his patients.
Dr. Tidwell and his wife, Jennifer, met in college and have been married for 24 years. They have two active kiddos: Jacob, who is headed to Texas A&M next year and Claire, a freshman in high school. They have three rescued dogs: Wendy, Marlee, and Jasper. The Tidwells are very active in their community and are active members of Georgetown Baptist Church in Pottsboro where Dr. Tidwell serves as a Sunday School teacher and deacon.
Dr. Tidwell is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. He is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Texas Academy of Veterinary Practitioners, and American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.
Dr. Jennifer Ermon
Dr. Ermon is a 2007 graduate of Louisiana State University and a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. She joined the staff at Texoma Veterinary Hospital shortly after moving to the area in 2015.
She and her husband, Michael, have four children: Grayson, Hayden, Bradley, and Baylie. When she is not working, Dr. Ermon enjoys spending time with her family and their four dogs: Peppa, Koda, Charlie, and Jilly Bean, as well as their cat, Meows. She also enjoys horseback riding, gardening, and anything outdoor-related.
Employed at Texoma Veterinary Hospital since 2005, Dusty has a bachelor's degree in animal science. When not working, he enjoys softball, fishing tournaments, and volleyball. During lunch, you will usually find Dusty running at the local park. He has one dog, Makaio, a 12-year-old German Shepard.
Kayla earned her Associate of Science degree at Carl Albert State College in 2016 and then her associate degree of applied science in veterinary technology at Murray State College in 2018. She is a registered veterinary technician in Oklahoma and a member of the Oklahoma Vet Tech Association. From 2013-2016, she volunteered much of her time at the Poteau Valley Humane Society.
Kayla is married to her husband, Joshua, and they have two dogs, Bella and Shelly; three cats, Toothless, Stella, and Ava; and two rats, Ollie and Lena (her lab rats from school!). In her free time, Kayla enjoys reading and longboarding. One interesting fact about her is that she was an Irish dancer for six years!
Christi has a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Texas Tech University. She also has an associate’s degree of applied science in veterinary technology from Murray State College. She’s been a licensed veterinary technician for over 13 years and brings a lot of experience to our team!
At home, Christi has a daughter named Rayni as well as five dogs and five cats. Her hobbies include crafts, jewelry, makeup, and dog training. One interesting fact about Christi is that she has 17 ear piercings!
Alison graduated from MSC’s veterinary technician program in 2016 and completed her internship here at TVH in July of 2016. Later that year in December, she officially joined our team!
Alison is married to her husband, Billy, and she also has one brother named Trevor. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her husband as well as reading. They have five pets at home including Otis, a black Labrador mix; Genevieve their other dog; and three cats named Badger, Kahlua, and Amara.
Kendra has been a veterinary technician since 2003, when she started at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center. She came to Texoma Veterinary Hospital in 2011. Kendra also works at Grayson County Animal Emergency clinic, too.
Kendra is married to her husband, Francisco, and they have been together since 1999. The couple has two children, Emma and Brynlee, and the whole family is very active with basketball. For her part, Kendra loves to watch her girls and husband play basketball all year long! The family also has one dog named Bird, who is a Blue Pitbull. One interesting fact about Kendra is that she loves margaritas!
Jana went to school in Pottsboro and has worked in the veterinary field for over 27 years. She has been employed at Texoma for 20 of those years as the inventory manager!
Jana is married to her high school sweetheart, Jimmie Williams II and they have one son, named Trey. Their fur family also includes two pets including Little P, a Chihuahua, and a rescue Terrier mix named Rico. Their son, Trey, and his fiancé Ciera have three kids named Bella, Karson, and Shihloh, with another baby girl on the way, as well as a dog named Louie. In her spare time, Jana enjoys being with her family. She is also involved with her son’s dirt track car racing. Jana helps work on the car, is an enthusiastic cheerleader, and films the races, too!
Ashley has worked as a veterinary technician full-time for over a year. Before that, she worked in the kennel and as a technician part-time. Additionally, Ashley is a registered Certified Nursing Assistant and she worked in humane medicine for over five years, but she believes that working with animals is her true passion.
Ashley is married and has three beautiful boys. Their family also includes two English Bulldogs named Scrumplets and Sasquatch, as well as a horse named Thunder. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys being outdoors, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, and playing sports.
Michelle was raised in Park Cities, Dallas and has worked for more than 10 years as a veterinary technician.
Michelle lives with her long-term boyfriend, Jeff, and she is the mother of two daughters named Ryann and Joie. Their fur family includes Andie, a tabby cat from SPCA, and Ella a rescued Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys crafts and home improvement projects, spending time with the family and her animals, reading, going to the movies, and participating in animal rescue.
Sharon has been a receptionist at Texoma Veterinary Hospital since 1996. She has two dogs, Maelei (a Maltese) and Ozzy a (Yorkshire Terrier). When not working, Sharon enjoys spending time with her family (she is a proud grandmother) and shopping ! Bargain hunting is a favorite!
Samantha is our Practice Manager. She started with Texoma Veterinary Hospital in 2017. She is married to her husband, Josh, and they have three boys--Colten, Kaden and Logan. Their family also includes 3 Great Danes--Zander, Laney and Stella! She also has a toy poodle named Marley and 1 cat named Alley! When not at work, she enjoys time with family at the lake in their RV, watching wildlife on their property, and pretty much anything outdoors. Samantha is very involved at her church, Trinity Lighthouse, and volunteers with the media department.
They Really care about your babies and your feelings. They have helped my sweetie through a lot of hard times and now they’re helping me with my Maddie. I cannot say enough about how great the doctors and the steps are. I highly recommend them to anybody they are the best around.
