Dr. Ken Lawrence
Dr. Lawrence is a 1984 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He opened Texoma Veterinary Hospital in July 1984. His family includes his wife, Mary and their two sons, Scott and Kyle. Dr. Lawrence is active in the Boy Scouts and Western Heights Church of Christ. He enjoys studying and teaching in the area of marriage enrichment, creation and evolution and general Bible study. He is also involved in the church’s Celebrate Recovery ministry. His hobbies include teaching at church and tinkering with computers.
Dr. David Tidwell
Dr. David Tidwell is a 2000 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. He joined the staff at Texoma Veterinary Hospital in May 2000 where he loves practicing veterinary medicine. Dr. Tidwell is a boarded specialist in small animal practice and a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. His areas of interest include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and reproduction. Although Dr. Tidwell is a boarded specialist, he still enjoys providing preventative and routine care to his patients.
Dr. Tidwell loves spending time with his wife, Jennifer and their two children Jacob and Claire. They have rescued dogs, Trampas, Max, Roxie, and Marlee as well as their cat, Corky. The Tidwell’s are very active in the community and are active members of Georgetown Baptist church in Pottsboro where Dr. Tidwell serves as a Sunday School Teacher and Deacon.
Dr. Tidwell is on the Board of Directors for the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. He is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Texas Academy of VeterinaryPractitioners, and American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.

They are happy to schedule appointments for your pets. They will answer your questions about preventative care. They will help you find the right food for your pet. They make sure you receive reminders for your pet’s care. They keep your pet’s medical records up to date. They make boarding reservations and schedule a bath for your pet. They make sure that all your pet care needs are met.
Our Technicians and assistants complete doctor’s orders for our patients
They perpare patients for surgical procedures and monitor patients during anesthetic procedures. They complete diagnostic work ordered by our veterinarians. They assist in x-ray and ultrasound. They prepare specimens and run laboratory test and then coordinate information between the doctors and pet owners. They take the patients out for walks and fresh air. They explain home care instructions. They make sure your pets are well taken care of.
